The 29th Annual Meeting of KSBNS. The Korean Society for Brain and Neural Sciences. September 6(Sun) - 8(Tue), 2026. Daejeon Convention Center, Daejeon, Korea.

Welcome Message

Dear colleagues and friends,

Warm greetings and best wishes for a successful and inspiring year in 2026.

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 29th Annual Meeting of the Korean Society for Brain and Neural Sciences (KSBNS), which will be held at the Daejeon Convention Center in Daejeon, the nation’s leading city of science, Korea, from September 6 to 8, 2026.

The KSBNS Annual Meeting has long served as the central hub for the brain and neural science community in Korea, bringing together researchers, clinicians, and educators to exchange ideas, share discoveries, and foster collaboration. This year’s meeting continues that tradition while also embracing a broader international perspective.

The 29th KSBNS Annual Meeting aims to foster active scientific exchange not only within Korea but also with colleagues across Asia and beyond. Through invited speakers, diverse scientific sessions, and open academic dialogue, we seek to strengthen global connections and promote collaborative approaches to advancing brain and neural sciences.

The scientific program has been carefully designed to highlight the breadth and depth of contemporary neuroscience. It includes presidential, plenary and special lectures by distinguished speakers, cutting-edge symposia across basic, translational, and clinical neuroscience, interdisciplinary sessions that bridge emerging fields, educational programs for early-career scientists, journal-related sessions, and poster presentations showcasing the creativity and rigor of our community.

On behalf of the Korean Society for Brain and Neural Sciences, I extend my sincere appreciation to all speakers, organizers, reviewers, and participants for their dedication and enthusiasm, which make this meeting possible. Your continued engagement is essential to advancing our field and sustaining the vitality of our society.

I hope that the new year will bring renewed inspiration to your research, and that the 29th KSBNS Annual Meeting will offer not only stimulating scientific discussions but also valuable opportunities to build new connections, renew collaborations, and envision the future of neuroscience together.

I look forward to welcoming you in Daejeon in September 2026.

Warm regards,

C. Justin Lee
