Visa

Participants from countries who have no visa exemption agreements with Korea, should apply for visas to enter Korea prior to departure. We advise all participants abroad to check with their host country embassy for the details about VISA requirements for traveling to Korea. You may also use the Visa Navigator in Korea Visa Portal to find the availability of Visa Waiver Program or a proper visa to enter Korea.

K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization)

Participants from countries who have visa exemption agreements with Korea, must apply for K-ETA to obtain travel authorization before entering Korea.

  • Where to Apply: Official K-ETA website or K-ETA App
  • K-ETA Fee: KRW 10,000 (approximately USD 7-8)
  • Result of Application: You can check the result within 72 hours of application either via email or on the website.
    (In case of the increased number of K-ETA applicants, the process may take more than 72 hours.)
  • Important Notice: You must apply for K-ETA at least 72 hours to 1 week before boarding your flight or ship bound to Korea.

Designated Countries & Regions Granted VISA-free Entry to Korea

VISA Invitation Letter Request

Please note that K-Brain 2026 is unable to intervene with Korean embassies or consulates on behalf of participants. However, if you need a letter of invitation to support your visa application, you may receive it on ‘My Page’ of the K-Brain 2026 website after completing your registration and payment of the registration fee.
