Poster Presentation Guidelines

Poster Specifications
  • Poster must be in landscape orientation and must not exceed the dimensions of 1,900 mm (W) × 1,100 mm (H).
  • The recommended minimum size is 1,100 mm (W) × 900 mm (H) to ensure readability.
  • Each accepted abstract will be assigned a poster number based on its category. Your abstract review result and assigned poster number (if accepted) are available via My Page on the K-Brain 2026 website.
Poster Setup and Removal
  • Display your poster on the assigned poster board before the end of the designated posting time.
  • Please ensure that your poster is displayed on the board with the corresponding poster number.
  • Adhesive stickers will be provided at each poster board. Please do not use tape, glue, staples, or any other fastening materials.
  • Posters must remain on display until the end of the assigned session and must be removed during the designated removal period.
  • Posters left after the removal period will be discarded. The Secretariat cannot be held responsible for materials left behind.
Presenter Attendance
  • Presenters must be at their posters during the designated presenter attendance time.
  • During this time, presenters are expected to:
    • explain their research to attendees;
    • answer questions and engage in scientific discussion; and
    • interact with fellow researchers
  • Presenters are welcome to remain at their posters beyond the required attendance period.
KSBNS Outstanding Poster Awards
  • Posters selected for on-site evaluation will be reviewed by the judges during the designated poster session.
  • Judges may visit posters at their discretion and discuss the work with presenters.
  • The criteria for assessment are as follows:
    • Research Content: Overall scientific quality, potential impacts of the research, and originality.
    • Visual Presentation: Effective poster design, appropriate use of graphics, readability, and logical organization.
    • Presentation Skills: Clear and concise presentation, strong communication, and ability to engage in discussion.
  • Award recipients will receive a certificate and cash prize during the Closing Ceremony on September 8 (Tuesday), 18:00–18:30.
    Awardees must be present to receive their awards. The number of awards is determined by the Scientific Program Committee.

Oral Presentation Guidelines

Eligibility
  • Oral presentations are limited to abstracts selected for:
    • Scitech Korea Best Oral Presentation Awards
    • IBRO Travel Awards
  • Selected presentations will be scheduled as short talks within symposium sessions.
Presentation Information
  • Presentation schedules, speaking order, and assigned symposium sessions will be announced soon after abstract acceptance.
  • Each consists of 10–12 minutes followed by 3–5 minutes for Q&A.
  • All presentations must be delivered in English.
  • Presentation slides should be prepared in 16:9 (widescreen) format.
Preparation
  • Please visit the Preview Room at least 1 hour before your session.
  • Please upload your presentation file to the conference computer in advance.
  • Personal laptops may not be used during presentations.
Important Notice
  • Recipients of the Scitech Korea Best Oral Presentation Awards and IBRO Travel Awards must attend the Closing Ceremony on September 8 (Tuesday), 18:00–18:30 to receive their certificates.
  • If you withdraw your presentation after selection, both the award and the associated prize will be forfeited.
  • Such withdrawals may also be taken into consideration when evaluating eligibility for future awards or presentation opportunities at KSBNS meetings.
